These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sartoris ("Sartoris", "we", "us", or "our"), an online tool that lets you generate images and video using artificial intelligence, available at sartoris.ai (the "Service"). The Service is operated by an individual trading as "Sartoris". By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service can produce mature or unrestricted creative content, and it is not intended for or directed at anyone under 18. By using the Service you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Sartoris provides access to AI models that generate images and video from text prompts and, where applicable, from images you provide. AI output is inherently unpredictable: we do not guarantee that any generation will be accurate, suitable, original, or fit for any particular purpose, and results may vary. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may change, and features may be added or removed, over time.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
The Service operates on a credit system. You purchase credits, and credits are consumed when you generate content. Pricing is shown in the Service at the time of purchase.
Refunds. Because credits unlock a digital service that is made available to you immediately, purchases are generally final. Where you have begun using the Service, you acknowledge that you may lose any statutory right to cancel that would otherwise apply to digital content or services. We may, at our discretion, consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis — for example where a technical fault on our side prevented a generation and credits were not already refunded automatically. Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or distribute content that:
You are solely responsible for the prompts you enter, the images you upload, and the content you generate and how you use it. You confirm that you have the necessary rights to any image you upload.
We screen uploaded images using automated and network-level tools before processing. We may refuse, remove, or report content, and suspend or terminate accounts, where we reasonably believe these Terms or the law have been breached. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so.
As between you and us, and to the extent we are able to grant it, you own the content you generate using your own prompts and inputs, subject to your compliance with these Terms and with the terms of the underlying model provider. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any generated content is lawful in your jurisdiction.
You grant us a limited licence to process your prompts, uploads, and generated content as necessary to operate and provide the Service (for example, to transmit them to the AI provider, to store them temporarily, and to display them back to you).
"Sartoris", the Service's design, and its underlying software remain our property. These Terms do not grant you any rights in them beyond using the Service as intended.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all content are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that stored content will be retained — generated media and uploads may be deleted automatically after a limited retention period.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you create, upload, or distribute.
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully, or to comply with the law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (including sections 5–9) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by posting the updated Terms in the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the place where the operator of Sartoris is resident. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory legal protections you are entitled to as a consumer under the laws of your own country of residence. Where possible, we both agree to try to resolve any dispute informally before taking other steps.
